communicate your brand in a way which distinguishes your from the competition. Consumers should be able to discern who you are, what your product or service does, and why the consumer should care.

develops the knowledge about your company through their thoughts, feelings, images, experiences and beliefs associated with your brand. Therefore, the design and other content should be carefully crafted.
How Customers Find Your Business
Because consumers' shopping habits have changed, it is important to market a retail business online as well as through traditional marketing methods. The Gen X and Gen Y shoppers, those individuals between the ages of 18 and 49, are spending more time on the computer than watching television. They
shop around for products online before they arrive at your store.
A Pleasant Experience
Having grown up with computers, they use it to shop around for products before they enter your store. If you do not have an attractive online presence, you stand to miss out on sales. Even the Baby Boomers and some seniors are shopping around on the internet!
Finally, shoppers
will return to your site and purchase items if it is convenient for them to do so. Studies show that a consumer will tell eleven friends about a pleasant experience with your website, but seventeen friends about a bad experience.
Therefore, it is important to include a shopping cart with credit card processing, which includes acceptance of all of the major credit cards.
